The week I was able to take in a pretty big haul. I finally harvested my garlic! While some of the cloves were not as big as they should be (I never got a chance to add bone meal this year). I'm still really happy with the overall amount. This is more than double what we grew last year. I planted three kinds, German White, German Red, and Music. I kind of mixed them up when harvesting, but the Music was definitely the biggest. I also pulled up some turnips that had reached their full size. I think I'll make some turnip fries next week. Thankfully, it should be gowing down to the lower 80s, a much more reasonable temperature. The beans and cucumbers are really close. I bet I'll have them next week.

Remember, If you'd like to to join in the fun, add your picture to my flickr pool. I'll be posting everyone's haul every week here on the blog. Please add a description to the picture that includes what's in the picture. If you're growing any neat heirloom varieties, please include that information also.
