It's been dry and hot around here, and the sprinkler has been running non stop. Our lettuce is about to bolt, so I picked quite a few handfuls tonight. I also grabbed a couple of scallions, and the last of the peas. I think they really are done this week, they're starting to dry up. The berries have been active also, but not as much as I'd hoped.
From the garden haul flickr pool:
Garden haul from Restoring the Roost: (all heirlooms) baby arugula, "homemade pickles" cucumber, "white wonder" cucumber, "Amy's Apricot" cherry tomatoes, leftover spring onion
Lettuce 'Simpson', Peas 'Super Sugar Snap' and Purple Broccoli (from Meighan)
Liesl blogged about her haul here (you need to see her cauliflower, it's amazing! I need to work on some fall brassicas.)
some imperial long poy beans from Joyful Lova

Remember, If you'd like to to join in the fun, add your picture to my flickr pool. I'll be posting everyone's haul every week here on the blog. Please add a description to the picture that includes what's in the picture. If you're growing any neat heirloom varieties, please include that information also. Finally, if you have a blog, make sure to share your address.
I look forward to sharing your photos, and learning about what you're growing! (please see my original post on this topic if you'd like more details.)
