So of course, it's still snowing round these parts. We're supposed to get 2 to 5 inches tomorrow. Happily for me, we started our seeds indoors, and we've had great success thus far. We decided to invest in some seed heating mats. I have the green house this year, but it's really not usable until we have weather that consistently in the 40-50s. For the next five days, we're not supposed to get above 35 degrees. Give that our springs in New York can been so random, I figured that the seed heating mats were worth the cost. Once we're in April (and more stable weather), the seeds will be transferred to our greenhouse, and planted in larger pots. I took the above picture on Sunday. Most all of the peppers are up at this point.
I also spotted some of our early bulbs popping up in the front part of the house. I don't think I can express how happy these make me. It's been a long winter.
